The three headed dog "Cerberus" makes sense with the triple launch. Pluto also had an ebony chariot drawn by 4 black horses (black train with highlights from the color palette we've seen?). He also owned a a Helmet of Invisibility.

But I also think BGW might lean on KISS (keep it simple, stupid). Going with the Roman Gods theme (as they seem to be doing) I foresee them picking a highly recognizable name. They don't want people to have to research a name to find out what it means. So, I'm still leaning towards "Mercury”, who was sent to negotiate with Pluto.

"Immortalized in the garden of gods" sounds like a photo op (ala Disney). A heavily landscaped garden with statues of Apollo, Mercury, etc. in a circle with a place for riders to stand with the statues for a picture (replacing the on-ride photo).

By your same logic of KISS, I feel like most people would go "why this thing named after a planet thisnt isn't Tomorrowland" with it being called Mercury. It's not quite simple enough for some beefheads

From the train this weekend: that one horse was still standing there alone next to the MMXX site, in the small remaining paddock on that side of the tracks, watching the construction equipment at work.

It seemed a bit... I dunno, confused. But I’m projecting.

Looking forward to the reveal. If their is going to be a garden of Greek god statues, I would hope Jupiter and Neptune (Pluto's brothers) would be included.

Hopefully this will actually be themed somewhat well in the queue/station
You obviously must be confused. This is BGW, not a park in Orlando.

Mercury was in some cartoons and was a car in ancient times. I think he's more recognizable than some of the "minor league" gods. But, again, we're talking BGW so I'm not counting on too much "accuracy".

I'm hoping for a temple style for the building with a few statues of the gods. Also i think a fountain would be nice.

I'm not seeing much outside of the usual Festa style.

Would theming have even been in these drawings? I’m genuinely not sure of the answer but it wouldn’t surprise me if they were only supposed to show the bare bones structural stuff and not what the finished product will actually look like on the outside.

Or, it’s just another boring Festa building.

As I understand it at this stage they don't have to have the theming including in the drawers. They can just be the basic structure with the theming to come later

Let's keep in mind that Kevin has said in multiple documented recordings that he is "really excited with the creative direction". Take that for what you will, but it sounds like they are putting at least some effort into the theming.
