And you, sir, know exactly the amount of time that it lasts after the big drop?

The ride is literally the same length as Maverick time wise btw

Both second halfs are around 22 seconds long

If only it were about 15-20 seconds longer, after the big drop...

That would be an added 2000 feet lol

Yes because we know the speed and time duration. The length of track might be similar but we don't know speed or enough of anything else to be able to say definitively what the ride time will be

I’m comparing the mock POV vs a Mav POV

A mock POV is a best guess. It won't be able to anticipate the actual speed of the real thing. Not to mention they haven't built the thing yet. Specifics are subject to changes/tweaks.

Everyone's an expert... and a wiseguy.
Just my opinion on how short the ride is after the drop. That's when the coasting aspect really sets in. 76 mph covers ground quickly. Would prefer more elements and track distance given the momentum it's likely to be carrying. 10-12 seconds would suffice. That little extra is often the difference between good & great rides.

Okay but there are numerous examples of even shorter rides that are world class.

It won't be travelling 76 mph for the whole time obviously.

Max speed does not equal average speed.

Apollo's hits 74 or 75 mph but it maintains that speed for less than a second during the first drop. 90% of that speed is lost on the second hill and I doubt it approaches 60mph after that.

Similarly mmxx has a huge airtime element after the top hat. In that section the majority of the speed will be scrubbed.

No real movement today, but they've definitely put some work in since last weekend. Clearing the whole section for the beginning of the ride. I wanted to bring a camera for apollo's lift but forgot. LOL. thought about looking over the fence next to daVinci's cradle but as I got close, started getting some eyes from the ride operators. Lol
