The bridge itself may not require them to be cut, but the park doesn't seem to show the discretion and care for saving trees they once did. The best view of the palms is from the train, there are some on both sides of that thicket i believe. After Invdr and Finnegan's though I don't have much faith in the commitment to preservation. Just my personal opinion.

Sadly, the only places where there aren't rides there are plants. If anything, for a whole expansion we aren't losing that much.

It’s much easier to cut down all of the trees in the area for construction and then replant afterwords. Give it enough time, and InvadR won’t be as barren as it is now.

Further cementing why earlier in this thread I (along with a few other users) refused to nail down any manufacturer prior to seeing the plans, Gerstlauer is also in this game now:

Expect to see similar rides cropping up at a parks in the US in the future from Premier, Mack, Intamin, Gerstlauer, S&S, etc.

Huh. Interesting. It's not a fast switch track, but an interesting concept with the double switch.. that last inverted section is massive.. so much time upside down..

The NL2 concept is not 100% accurate as they do not have programming for turntables. Both of the transfer track moments are actually turntables.

Forgive me because I might've missed something but I don't recall there being 2 bridges in the original site plans?

So, we have an answer on this now. Looks like the permit applications have been amended a bit. (More corrections than anything).

First is the bridge construction permit. The second is for electrical for the bridge. Because obviously it'll need power for pathway lights etc. Makes a lot more sense. Some of the other permits have been similarly amended.

Note how the type has changed to "electrical" and the permit numbering scheme has similarly changed.

I think a lot of people would argue that giga does not automatically beat a unique triple launch system which doesn't exist anywhere else in the country.

even if the KI giga is slightly bigger and slightly faster than other gigas it's still an existing concept that exists in a number of other places.

in 2020 there will be no other place to go in the US to experience a coaster like MMXX.

There’s almost no way MMXX can be cloned considering how it hugs very specific terrain on the top hat drop. Other coasters could do similar elements in a similar order but I’d give a <1% chance it is ever straight up “cloned.”
