I have a hard time believing the leak is fake. Some info may be miscommunicated but I have never heard of a decoy being nodded at by the official company.

Not saying I want it or think it would happen. Just throwing out possibilities.

No, no I did not mean to suggest that you were making that prediction, just that It does make sense, and I hate it when drops change direction mid course. It always feels like... (not how I WANT to phrase it, but the only way I can think to)... an unfinished thought. I feel like I have been given a taste of an amazing sensation and great forces only to have them truncated. This "tease" would be fine if it were followed up with the real thing, but I have never experienced that on a coaster. That is not to say it has never been done, just that I have never experienced it.

I agree, we are at a point where we have too much information and I am considering removing my interest in the topic until the park themselves releases information.

I have to believe the slide with the "layout" of the track is a ruse. As @warfelg previously posted, such a move of the highest point as @Zachary said he saw, would probably require resubmission. Not only would it have to be appended in the County filling, I believe it would also have to be resubmitted to the FAA. The park filing to get an ok from the FAA has the exact latitude/longitude of the highest point. You might be able to move it a bit on county paperwork but pilots might not be so lax.

I have to agree with @Zachary that somewhere in the 2300+ posts the forums were on to something ... so a ruse was concocted. I think some of the facts in the slide posted are factual to make the ruse somewhat believable. Obviously "family coaster" is a fallacy. But I still think multi-launch, highest point (because of the filing) and the projected speed are probably close to true. But I'm not buying the map as was described.

So if I got it right, it seems that Zachary is leaning more towards the traditional Giga concept.

I don't want anyone to think I'm leaning towards anything. Mumblings inside the park seem to suggest a lift. The claims in this presentation spell out that it's a launch. I have no idea which is true.

Something else to keep in mind: Both of these things could have been true at some point. I have heard many things that suggest that Project Madrid has gone through a lot of change throughout its development process.

It's anyone's guess what the project looks like at this point.

Out of curiosity, how often does SEAS do internal power points like this with all the information on it?

I wish I knew the answer to this. It seems to me that a presentation containing specifics for attractions throughout the entire chain would only see the light of day in the corporate offices since, historically, there has been little to no visible coordination between the marketing departments at the various SEAS parks. That said, it's perfectly believable that SEAS sat down marketing teams from every park to talk about the next two years for the SEAS chain. I just don't know.

Ok, I've read every post in the last 122 pages, where are these slides that everyone is referencing? Did i miss something?

1) My condolences. Perhaps we can chip in on some therapy or something.

2) I believe the "slides" are from a supposed leak, which was transcribed in this post by @Zachary
I just posted this as a reply to someone on /r/rollercoasters:
