It was the deer.
Was waiting for the deer joke...
Anyhow, interesting theory. There are elements & reasons why I'm thinking Intamin is possible, and I've looked at Mega Lites. If it were a scaled up and lengthened Mega Lite though, would it still be "lite?" If I recall, Intamin puts Mega Lite under their Mega/Giga category. So would a longer and bigger (height waiver bigger) Mega Lite make it just a Giga? Or a Giga Lite? And therefore, if we're looking at parallels to or expansions of Intamin's portfolio as inspiration, would Mega Lites be the right place to focus?
So his theory is more that there are some possible parallels to a bigger Kawasemi, which just happens to be a Mega Lite, not that he's thinking Madrid is likely a Mega Lite per se that is is maybe a little bigger? Maybe just semantics.... just trying to follow what the thought process was.
In any event, I've been thinking Intamin for awhile based on my assumption of not a traditional giga (so less likely a B&M giga, though that would be fine w/ me), but something involving more elements than say...Millennium Force; and I feel Intamin is more likely to push the design envelope on a giga than B&M. And no offense to B&M of course, people probably know I'm a bit of a B&M fanboy.
Intamin is problematic in some respects, but seems like a strong possibility, and back on the economic, etc. posts way back, I would expect them to sweeten the deal to get into the Park (with a coaster).
That would be cool. Its more semantics there. Neither Millennium or I-305 are like the Mega-lites. So he thinks it might be like a mega-lite layout, but just grown up in size.
Or something with the length of Steel Dragon 2000.Something the length of like Lightning Rod (in ride time) would be sweet.
SD2000 looks meh honestlyOr something with the length of Steel Dragon 2000.
I meant the length, not the actual ride.SD2000 looks meh honestly
?I meant the length, not the actual ride.
RIP Arrow Dynamics...I'm trying to find a park dumb enough to drop that kind of money on a coaster.
Last one that came to mind was Six Flags Magic Mountain, but they killed a manufacturer in the process of building X.
