Is there anything new on the pantheon site today?

I was starting to write up a post that lots of theming was installed, though in a curious error it was all Looney Tunes based, but when it came to assigning characters to elements I lost the will to continue.

I went back to the plant filings after looking for more landscaping correlations and found some specifically placed rectangles that match up with the currently placed stones. If we're to expect anything for theming, I'd expect something similar to what's displayed here. (As far as the queue goes.)

If this is anything to signify how much Busch is planning to landscape the queue, it should look pretty decent with the foliage mixed with whatever they're gonna have on the stones.

It’s not hate per se, but it’s the fact that most likely anyone posting on this has a membership and is invested in the park because of that. It’s the same thing with fans of say the Red Sox or the Yankees(screw da Yankees). When they(the park/team) does something right, wins a game etc, every fan says “16-0” “162-0”. When we saw pantheon test, I myself said “contender for #1 coaster”. And then boom when the organization sucks everyone is out competing each other to complain. It ain’t hate
That's a much more reasonable way of putting it imo. Not trying to shit on this forum or its members. I just hate how sometimes fans being so invested in something makes them seemingly appreciate it less. But then again I'm from PA and don't get to go as often so I always appreciate all of its amazing aspects while I'm there. I have no use for pessimism regarding BGW.

Back on the actual topic though, I actually think the station could look nice with the right foliage around it. Obviously I'd kill for a pre-show, indoor station, dark ride section, and ruins throughout the ride, but fuck it if BGW wants to make it a nice lil garden with some rockwork, I won't complain too much. InvadR has an awesome station despite being pretty bare bones at its heart. The plant/landscaping filings are exciting to me, but then again anything regarding this park/project is.

EDIT: Fuck that train storage building/maintenance bay tho

I am starting to hear things that strongly lead me to believe that it has been turned over to the park and that Intamin is done programing it. Not saying that is the case but that I am seeing thing that seem to indicate that MAY be the case. Anyone else hearing anything?

If that’s the case then it means landscaping work can get started.

dope

Pantheon -> Rome -> Caesar -> Caesar's Palace -> Las Vegas -> Showgirl -> Jesse "Ole Busch Gardens" Spano's caffeine pill addiction
Ya know, I saw that movie more times than I'd care to admit, though in a sense I just did. And I don't mean to be uncouth here, but from what I recall about several of its more memorable scenes, I just can't agree with that nickname.

Edit: On an unrelated note, looking forward to Pantheon.

Actually, I had a cousin who was became addicted to caffeine pills. She was set to perform with her girl-band Hot Sundae, but the stress of school and performing, along with there not being enough time in the day made her feel like caffeine was the only way out. She was so excited but also so scared. Luckily she had 5 somewhat diverse friends to help her through this dark period and she later became an exotic dancer in Vegas. Her nickname was "Ole Busch Gardens" for reasons we won't discuss.
Whoa... I got way to emotionally invested during that tale...

Any clue when an official POV is coming?
Never.

My theory is like @BGWnut once claimed, the OG plans for Pantheon included a bridge and entry plaza extending out of Italy in-between Da Vinci's Cradle and Marco's Polo Marketplace, close to where the booths are stored for Food & Wine in that parking lot. There was a fully digitally animated POV of the ride that got leaked with the same color scheme we have today, an identical layout, and a small plaza connected to Italy. Somewhere along the design process, something changed and the ride entrance switched from Italy and to the current plans we have today with the bridge going over the Festa train station leading to the Pantheon plaza.

I think we never saw the digital POV because there aren't any that are representative of the current day ride experience. They don't want to release the animated POV because it shows a totally different entry plaza with a large number of details and features that are missing in the new version. It would be foolish to release the beefed-up Pantheon POV only for guests to come and find the Six Flags-esque station sitting in the middle of a field.

As for a real POV, I think it's only a matter of weeks before it's released and I would expect it to be released by the end of May. For all we know they may as well have just slapped a Go-Pro on one of the trains and already have the footage ready to roll, it's only a matter of time.

Good catch. I'm guessing since there's six of them that are the same size that they will be the five "gods" plus something else at the end/beginning? Also, fairly certain that the three next to "Building 60" are just generators or something on concrete pads, not theming. But one can hope!

When I was highlighting the document I kept going back and forth on whether to include them because last time we were able to see them was fairly long ago, and if the pads still had electrical boxes or AC units, I'd expect Busch to put more foliage in front of them instead of behind. The plants that line that portion of the queue aren't exactly tall, so I'd question Busch's idea to have all of that visible. There are other sections of the queue that provide more privacy to the backstage, so I don't know. Most likely they're generators and Busch is (hopefully) going to stray from the plant filings on that front, or they used the pads temporarily for the building and there's something different there.
