My guess would be by mid October. It's just a guess though, but based on the fact that the permit for the crane is only good until December 31st, I'd think they need to start construction soon.

Unless that particular crane goes up more than 300ft, I doubt it. They're probably using a smaller spanned crane to place the lower stuff, like the bridge supports.

You could do it without, but it wouldn't work well. Doppler effect.

It could be done quite easily with multiple speaker placements facing in a certain direction. They would need to use certain speakers for when the launch switches and would need them lined down the track.

Mako achieves the off board audio pretty well, when its turning over the pathways. I'm sure they could do something similar with this one.

Pantheon should have onboard audio, but guests can choose their own audio experience. You choose a god and you hear tales of their exploits while riding.

Whether related to audio or not, the park would be wise to try to figure out how to create different ride "experiences", e.g. tied to the different gods. Similar to the three themes on Bolt. That's an easy way to drive extra ridership stats.

Eh, to be honest I'm not expecting a VB experience or theming here, just a solid ride. Besides, I believe even the park references the gods as different elements so it wouldn't make sense to have the entire ride be represented by only 1 God at a time.

Seems like they can have audio before the first launch. "Now get ready, here we go". I'm not sure anyone would hear anything for any other part of the ride? Wouldn't wind noise make that inaudible unless they have the volume super high?

All I want is a decent plaza there. Its obviously a challenging spot to expand over to some old pastures past train tracks and service roads next to the Italy backstage, so I hope they can do a halfway decent job. I'm not expecting very much though to be honest.
