I mean really anything ASP does is wonderful.

Much like sitting through a musical or a Lifetime Movie, I just can't wait for it to end so we can all get on with our lives.
Never seen that before. They cut about 10 seconds out of the song, including the bit that puts the biggest bow on the band's sense of humor. Of course, when TV production dictates you have x seconds end-to-end for a bit, you work to that target of x seconds for the bit.
Yea so, warning off topic, but ASP wrote the episode, and by the time they shot it they were actually a few minutes short on their time slot. So they put together that sequence as a way to fill the time up. I think the issue with that 10 seconds actually came down to royalties.
