I hope the 95 is speed, which gives us hope for Giga status. I don’t know why you’d market and build a coaster that goes a whole 5 degrees more than your Drop coaster Griffon.

After rewatching the parc asterix ride. You guys are probably right. And it’s speed tops out in the high 60s in Mph. I bet the 300 foot will be for the spike and that’s it and it will reach nowhere near the top

The spike is no way in hell reaching 300ft, what would be the purpose, its not even gonna get close to that height

Doing some Roman/Greek god research, I came across Morpheus. More here:

Yes there is an association with sleep, but also with dreams and mimicking the forms of other beings. Busch can loosely associate concepts like none other and call it a ride as we know, so I’m playing with the idea that this ride’s transfer track/launch is enough to “morph” the ride into another form. It’s a trick that can make you as the rider have a loose connection to “deja vu” when you fall down the airtime stall and backwards to the spike, and launch again, connecting the (far-fetched) dream association with Morpheus as a god of dreams/transition/mimicry.

Sounds like a somewhat decent name and has enough of an amusement/historical concept in my mind for them to market it.

Thoughts?

I'm still leaning toward Mercury. But, taking something from Da vinci...Balestra Gigante (cross bow).

I like the crossbow. The back and forth launch track is pulling the arrow back...whoosh!

It was a good tease, I'm curious if the yellow background of the roman numerals means anything? 95 degree drop is nice though, that recreation got that spot on! Can’t wait to see what else Zachary can possibly dig up!

Hmmm, Roman theme, two high peaks, two drops by the river, two launch sections, two inversions, two trains....

....Romulus and Remus are the twin brothers that were sent down the River Tiber by their uncle Amulius (the king at that time), when they were fished out of the river at the formation of Rome, by the god Tiberinus. And that's my official guess. Everything being done in 2's with this ride makes me think somehow it comes back to this theme.
