This is fun and all but you have to some restrictions. 16 and under have to be excluded from being launch or no one would ever select an adult to be ejected.
 
Any new construction pics from the weekend? Aren't we expecting an official opening date announcement this week? Interested to know when soft opening ride times will be for members. Something is telling me a date that coincides with the opening of wcusa makes sense; but I have no evidence to back that up with.
 
From being at the park earlier this week and today it looks like no work has been done while the park was open. It also rained a bit so it wouldn't surprise me that they took the week off. As far as opening date I don't know that I would expect to hear a date this week. It is likely given the timeframe but I think if they were already confident on a date they would have announced it.
I think that they would want to open it beginning of May though. That way they don't have it clashing with the opening of Cutback or the start of F&W on the 17th. So my guess would be that they are having to open it either the the weekend of the 5th or the 12th. Currently it's expected that Cutback will open on the 18th with WCUSA.

A caveat to that is that they could also decide to not open Cutback on opening weekend instead holding it until Memorial day weekend. If they did that then I think you there's the chance that BGW will open FF and start F&W the same weekend.
 
Makes sense. Based on that, a lot of work should be done this week while it's closed. I'll be making a visit mid-week next week. Maybe we'll have some news before then.
 
Hearing rumors the media event might be at the very beginning of May. Should be hearing soon on an official date.
