Personally I think maybe a little of both. I don't mean both at the same time I do understand and respect that your time is limited. I have greatly liked and admired your detailed photos and write ups but at times one report has not show that much change from the previous one so maybe make an onsite call as to if there is enough new stuff to warrant a new full report and if not go for the quick video and save yourself the time for something else that you want to do. Just my two cents for what ever they are worth.

If you can choose only one, pictures are the way to go if only for detail's sake.

However, a quick video from the train, bridge, construction wall, etc. gives a better sense of the ride's scale and presence in the park (in my opinion) at a quicker glance.

I completely agree with this. I choose pictures over video due to detail. Don't get me wrong, a video here and there would be great too. ;-D

I prefer the photos, personally. There's usually more detail and I like being able to go back to a photo set and find the shot I'm looking for without having to sit through multiple videos.

Yes, this is what I was trying to say.

I find myself watching videos often even though I really think pictures serve a better purpose. The main reason for watching videos for me is to get a sense of the whole area at one time. A good time for videos is ride testing.

P.S. I would much rather read your post and look at pictures than go watch a video that was posted.

Zachary is at the park right now, getting a behind the scenes photos of InvadR.

We will be publishing a full front page article, but I thought y'all might be interested in the Instagram pictures in the meantime. (https://www.instagram.com/bgwfans/)

Yeah Im assuming thats the footers for the left turn before the coaster heads down the bunnyhill straight away into the final helix. Otherwise its the second TUNNNEL!!!  (or structure :malicious:)

I was thinking footer as well, but that is a heavy duty footer for just a turn. Looks like a concrete wall form, similar to the first tunnel when it was being constructed. I'm not saying this is a tunnel, but did we ever figure out if there was going to be a 2nd tunnel and where it was going to be located? And just to the right of the concrete wood form, are those railroad ties stacked up or what? I can't tell. A couple of photos I've see of this spot are intriguing me...

Well if was to guess unless BG wants to construct the tunnel on the s-turns after the airtime hill, the straight away before the tracks cross over the first drop would be my guess. They wouldn't cover up the first drop with a structure leaving it less photogenic, and from the looks of completed parts of the track theres no signs of structures interfering early on in the ride. (walk through railings present on all pieces) Also the helix will be very visible and will be a showcase piece of the coaster to the general public as they cross the le-scoot bridge so thats also an unlikely spot.

A tunnel for the second cross-over makes a tiny bit of sense as the coaster will be losing speed at that point. Still, as noted earlier, a tunnel does not indicate the the coaster will go underground. I'm more for this camp currently.

I'm well aware that a tunnel does not always mean underground. The point of my post is the fact that the footers or whatever they're pouring seems to be extremely heavy duty. That is all.
