Hmmm site probably isn't updated guys

What I saw was not about updating. I was looking at the latest Decide The Ride update that announced the second tunnel and such from August. It used to say 81ft drop. I looked back. Not now says 74ft.

Yeah, GCI has done some interesting train noses in the past but they've always been pretty compact and just take up the first foot or so of the train. This design looks way out of the box for what GCI normally does and makes me think it will have a zero car. All that being said, I remember reading that BGW is rehabbing these Gwazi trains in house, so I don't know what to expect.

I think it could go either way. The bolt concept art had a fairly accurate depiction of what it's trains ended up looking like. I would hope that since this art has been released by SEAS, the park would provide us with an update.

I hope that it does have that kind of design on the front of the train, it looks fantastic, I just thought it was out of character for the rides designer.

I thought the Gwazi trains already had a sort of small zero car. The existing front looks large enough to hold that dragon head from the concept IMO.

I can see the dragon head easily fitting on the Gwazi cars and it looks great! Also does anyone think they have started vertical construction this week?

Okay, I am really loving the train design! It definitely has that viking feel to it, and is it just me or is this concept art shows that GCI and Busch are going all out with it's theme? If so then color me impressed, in fact I'm already loving this much more than I did when Tempesto appeared.

Can't wait to see more details as the off season starts! :D

I Wonder if the second tunnel is actually a tunnel? Due to the layout and the first tunnel going actually underground it would be my guess that the second does not go below ground but is going through a structure of some sort. We also know that we have not seen any other footers for tunnels being poured.

Even though its highly unlikely it would be super cool for it to use a house or village like BBW. Otherwise im guessing the second tunnel would be like an extended version of what alpengiest uses after its break run.

Last little thing is that the concept POV doesnt correctly show how well the coaster interacts with terrain. It has the original tunnel off the first drop not even below ground. So hopefully that interaction gives this coaster that true BG edge we all know and love.

Footers for the station, first turn, and pre-lift have been poured and completed. Festhaus Park also looks like plenty more supports have been put together. According to my sources, we should be seeing some form of basic vertical construction possibly next week if the rain isn't too terrible. Time to get excited!

The first turn after the drop under the service road depicted in the released on-ride POV appears MUCH wider than the actual footers in place. Looks as if it may become an over-bank. Which sounds more "GCI".

Curious to see if the park releases a new POV and renderings/art down to road to clear up some confusion. Because let's face it, the park seems to be very open about this project, but there is much more to be told in realistic renderings and such things than the park letting us vote on the color of the freaking logo.

Just a thought that's been bugging me recently.:)

Hey John! The footers in the photo are for the first turn leaving the station and going towards the lift hill, we don't yet have footers in place for much of the lift or the first turn after the drop, but we'll get there soon!

The POV rendering is all from GCI, but I'm sure if they end up making any changes to the overall layout and design, they may release a new one, but not entirely likely.
