The name walls are up for Invadr! There are like 3 of them, they look awesome, I made the list! There are also a ton of new signs up around the construction wall, exclaiming, "INVADR COMING SPRING 2017!!"
Pics anyone?

It will be a legitimate underground tunnel—something around 20 feet below grade of I remember correctly.

Im just looking at the pics BGW Family had posted and the tunnels footers looks like they are being layed. However the actual grade of the land is even with the trees they kept for the first turn... So I was wondering if its actually a tunnel since they would have to fill it in with dirt and take out the trees that are already marked to stay. I guess we will find out soon!

That isn't the 'name wall' I was thinking of. I am wondering about the artistic wall of submitted names. Yea....where is that wall?

I think it would have been much more fun if they had converted the names into their corresponding Hex values (based of course of the ANSI codes) then added the values of the Hex numerals (in each name).  Next covert the new values into their ternary (trinary) equivalent values (maintaining the association to the original alpha numeric name).  Penultimately process the log of each of these values and ultimately sort the names based on a high to low value of the log value!

While perhaps not intuitive, it seems more... Soviet era computer and that makes it more fun!

I am sincerely most looking forward to what they have up their sleeves theming-wise. The stats and layout aren't too riveting, but well-placed greenery, tunneling, and above all, train design/station adornment go a long way overall.

I am still excited for this one, despite all of my cheating on BG by riding much faster/larger/twisted woodies at other parks this year. :) I hope this turns out to be a hidden gem.

The train people seem fairly certain that construction will not close the railway. If it actually goes under the train track itself, I really want to see how they achieve such a feat.

That would probably make more sense. One railway op that I spoke with said that he hopes they have no debris falling on the train. I remember asking myself how he expects things to "fall up" like that.

BGT's train crosses under all of the major roller coasters in the park. I'm pretty sure the company won't have an issue constructing a few sections of InvadR supports over the tracks and keeping the trains safe.

I mentioned that in our conversation as well. What I meant is that during construction, he has concerns about debris. You might remember that BGT closed their train during construction for almost every ride that goes near it.

Unagi brings up a good point though about the train and ride interaction. I personally think that's one of the best thing about BGT. I think Williamsburg's Railway will have a better edge on Tampa after InvadR is added.

Until you get within a few feet of ostriches, rhinos, etc at BGW I'd say that the Tampa railway gets the edge.;)

Am I the only one who thought that the name wall was going to be permanent? Or is it? from the pics it looks like a poster.

I disagree. You can't beat the view of BGT's train meandering through and around the Serengeti safari. Add to that the interaction with Kumba, Montu, Sheikra, Cobra's Curse and Cheetah Hunt (twice). Also the train goes right by and so close to Scorpion that you can practically touch it. The Serengeti Railway definitely has a superior advantage when it comes to ride interaction.

Can someone please grab a full picture or two of the name wall? I was hoping to surprise my young daughters by showing them a wall with their names on it, but the wall wasn't up yet when we visited in June. I'd love to show them the photos, anyway...
