Just to show you how efficiently GCI works, here's a timelapse video of Prowler's construction, which was built on terrain.  This timeline of this video starts from the first day of land clearing until the ride completed testing, which took a total of 8 months.  Prowler, which has a first drop comparable in height to InvadR's, is almost 1,000-feet longer.  And with InvadR utilizing a steel support structure, the construction shouldn't be as long as a typical GCI wood coaster.

I thought that I had read somewhere the new president of Sea World was pushing all parks to move toward spring openings for new attractions.

Yup, that was what started all this. I think that the way this ride will interact with the railway and the theming in the station are the things I look forward to seeing the most. My one worry is that with the steel supports you will lose the "sea of wood" effect that many woodie supports give off.

Okay...so we already know its going to interact with Le Scoot but will it interact with train? I know there has been clearing on the other side of the tracks...but will the train and Le Scoot have down time during construction?

I would say definitely the train because track goes over it, but le scoot is all about how close the construction is to supports and or concrete pads. Also this wooden coaster won't need huge crains

It's clear in the plans that part of the ride will be built over the train tracks just south of Caribou Station. How much more interaction do you want?

It's quite possible. I'm guessing the majority of vertical construction will begin in the fall when they can work during the week when the park is closed. Closing the flume that time of year isn't a big deal. However, the train is a different story. They'll need that open to move the Howl-O-Scream and Christmastown crowds.

Some before and after thus far.

The new trains are from Gwazi!
"One fascinating bit of information with this attraction, is that the trains being used for InvadR were actually located at one of our sister parks, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The trains were gently used for a few seasons and are in amazing condition to be used for our new ride."

Wonder what the new design on the front of the train will look like?
That is a very good question...You don't think they will do something generic like with what they did with Apollos Chariot where they have the name of the coaster do you? Maybe they will make the side design to look like a viking warship? I don't know what they could do with the front and back of the trains.

GCI Millennium Flyer trains are pretty standard with the panel in front on the first car showcasing the ride's name/logo.  That's the most theming they ever do so don't expect anything for the sides and backs of the trains.

Here's a shot of Ghostrider's new trains.  InvadR's won't look much different than this.

Apollo doesn't have the name Apollo's Chariot on the front of the train, but it does say Busch Gardens Williamsburg, VA.

His name may not be on it but his face and four horses are depicted on the gold panel.
