That hammer sticks out in my mind the more I review this video. Typical construction prop, but it's very particular at the same time when pondering its use in certain grained materials.

I think it's going to be a dipping dots cart. I know - the capital investment would bring the company to its knees, but the ROI could really fire up the stakeholders.
That aside, could anyone remind me (and others) of the rumors of Project 2017 throughout the past few years? I remember a new country, but honestly that's the only rumor I remember reading years ago.

I slowed the video down to half speed and listened to it with headphones on in a quiet room over and over again the other day. I imagine it's not 100% perfect, but I'm pretty sure my transcript below is fairly accurate.
Dan: Hey everybody, I'm Dan Dipiazzo, vice president of marketing here at Busch Gardens, and one of the things that drives me crazy is that we're supposed to be telling everybody about all of the great new things that are happening but there are some people who are so uptight about timelines and when things can be released. So, I know something big is going on and I intend to find out. Let's go take a look.
Johnathan: So larry, where's the clearing [inaudible]? [?]
Larry: The clearing- we're going to have to clear all the way over here- yeah- and then I think the drop will be right over here...
Dan: Hey guys, how are you doing?

As I am sure y'all expected, Zachary and I have been analyzing the video and working on a front page article about Project 2017. We aren't ready to share all of our theories yet, but here is what we are willing to say, until Zachary's sources can confirm what we suspect.
Despite the by-line having to list me as the author, this was a completely collaborative effort. Zachary is just being a gentleman, since the software will only let us list one author.
As the article says, we will have more soon, but please enjoy our initial thoughts now.

I know no inside information, and I won't propose this post as such, so I'm just going to say what I would like to see from the 2017 project. I would love to see an RMC come to Busch. They're significantly quieter than traditional wooden coasters, and RMC has proven they can produce seriously great coasters. I also wouldn't be disappointed to see a B&M wing rider or flyer, but the more realistic assumption of the two would be the wing rider in my opinion. To be honest, I'd be a little disappointed if we got a Mack spinner, or something of a similar scale. A more traditional coaster is what I'd prefer, but I'll take whatever we can get that isn't a clone!
As to location, I don't really see them adding a new attraction in DF's lot, but I could get behind a new attraction in Festa field with a relocation of the stables that currently reside there.

Can't really make out the blueprints but that dark line looks like it could be a stretch of coaster track...
And nothing much from the cover page of the blueprints other than the words "Top Secret"

I was able to also make out the words "Site Plan" on the front cover, but I suppose that does not tell us much either.
But keep in mind these may not even be the actual plans. I recall Oktoberfest plans being used in one of Colossal Curl's teaser videos.

Every time I see this design I think something is just going to land on the track and not fall off. I don't know what would happen then.

I never considered this. I would hope this would be addressed some how for this design where ever it goes. Good point made. Biggest offenders would be phones im sure.
