Red reminds me too much of Verbolten's logo, which is even similar enough in shape. I still don't like that logo. However, I can see where others are coming from with too many blue color schemes. I don't even want to get into a designer's perspective fight because from the way I see it- most people voting for this are guests, not designers.

Even though I like the idea of having a dragon on the logo I don't care for the look of the "dragon" as it's too hard to make out what it is quickly, which you shouldn't have to. You kind of have to stare at it a few seconds before you can pick up on what it's supposed to be. At work during lunch I even put the voting page up on the large TV and video projector we have in our conference room to get a larger image and that design is still hard to make out...at least to me. Maybe when I see a larger version of it on the ride entrance sign will it become easier to identify, if it wins. As such I voted for the basic red crossed logo even though blue is my favorite color as I'm hoping at least that the red color wins so the ride supports can be painted red. I'm with you Wings in that I think it would fit nicely in New France.

Somebody on the park's Facebook page mentioned their sentiments that the voting process makes marketing look bad. Here was the park's response.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg said:
It's not that we're short of staff, rather that we have a very passionate and engaged fan base which has a strong sense of ownership of our park. All of our park teams, including the Marketing department, appreciate that and so we wanted to bring our fans along for the ride- literally- by giving them a voice (when we can) during the development process of our first wooden coaster. We hope you'll consider voting!

I'm still not a fan of the polls for this type of thing, personally. However, I do like to see the park answering questions on social media rather than ignoring them like they have in the past. Williamsburg seems to be jumping on the transparency wagon way more than the other parks.

When they announced these contests I really wasn't a big fan of the idea, however the more they hold votes, the more interested I am in the coaster. This coaster didn't seem very exciting at first, but now that I've voted on the name and the logo, I'm actually excited to keep following the progress on the ride and for it to open. Good job Busch Gardens marketing, this is some of the best I've seen y'all do.

After just coming back from a New England trip and visiting Quassy, if this coaster is anything like Wooden Warrior then we are in for a treat. Granted it is much larger than Wooden Warrior but still on the family side. The airtime on Wooden Warrior was sick.

Wooden Warrior is GG, we're getting a GCI..

Yes I know that. I was alluding to the fact that they will both be family style coasters. Hopefully InvadR will be on par with the best family woodie out there.

Voting for the logo is now over and done with. The park may announce the official logo today or tomorrow.
