Yes. I sorta think Tempesto's plaza is going to be the best looking part of Festa. Trashy carnival theme for a trashy carnival section of the park. Tempesto feels intentional though while everything else looks legitimately rundown.

I don't think trashy fairground (intentional or not) is a good look for a Busch Gardens park and, yes, "better than the rest of Festa" is an incredibly low bar, but I'll take it.

More Tempesto updates!

The construction fence has been pushed back to reveal this empty planter. Notice the little Easter egg in the yellow circle?

Also, speaking of un-planted planter, I saw the director of landscaping walking by and seeming mad(or aggravated at the least) at the fact that the fence was pushed back with it un-planted. In fact, he called someone on his phone about it while pacing back and forth in front of it.

You wonder if next year this style of theming could make its way to other parts of Festa. It's not over complicated or expensive to do.

I have to say, from the pictures I've seen the themeing doesn't look that bad. I actually kinda like the themeing. Of course better judgement will be made with the walls removed for all to see, but it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would from the leaked plans a while back.

I definitely understand what you guys mean by "fairground" theme. I don't especially love that but I also don't care for the way Tempesto is so caged in with its own structure. It's a bit of an eyesore jutting up from the park's landscape.

Having said that, it does look like a really great ride. I can't wait to see the end product.

Has anyone noticed the post on Theme Park Review on Facebook?
I'm glad the they deleted comments.
They would have made us all look like fools.

Trying to plan a trip to BGW soon. Any hints of a soft opening before the advertised April 25 opening date? I have this nasty habit of visiting parks right before a new attraction opens that I'd eventually like to break.

it's scary how high the wait time clock goes. 3 clicks past 90 minutes means the park is expecting possible 2 hour wait times. Ick. (BTW...Great pictures Matthew!)

I wish they would do something about that station. I absolutely hate the warehouse look. That's the only thing that I hate about Loch Ness monster; the warehouse looking station.
