RE: Project 2015: Premier Rides Coaster for Festa Italia

I really wasn't in any way whatsoever. I found information on the web, and I thought it would be interesting to share, and I become the bad guy. If I had known the information was up here already, I wouldn't have bothered.

In case people aren't familiar with threads on major topics like this: Information will be recycled 100x over. If you don't want to see and answer the same question over and over again, I'd avoid this thread.

That said, I'm working on something that will, hopefully, ease some of the weight off the forum in that regard.

Yawn...

Best I can tell, all this is is the first third of a "right"side up Volcano (Kings Dominion), with a loop on the way down. What on earth has anyone at Busch Gardens thinking this is a good idea?

The reality of the situation might just be that they thought this really is the best option out of a slew of shittier ones. Let's be honest, Volcano is another quick, shitty ride with low capacity and people do love Volcano for some reason. The reality here is that guests might like it and most of them will never realize that it's a clone. The danger, as with declining entertainment quality, is that guests will accept a ten second(I know, not really, don't get pissy with me) long coaster, the park will see this, and they won't have any incentive to build masterpieces like Alpengiest anymore. I really don't want the park to fail, but I want to see guests reject the recent decisions so it will get on the right track.

Glad to see people listening to this guy, VERY valid points here, why build quality when guests will settle for mediocrity. A danger everyone should be aware of with quality in theme parks.

^If it meant a resurrection years down the road that brought it back to its glory then I'm okay with it happening.

For all of people stuck up about this ride you might want to hear this. Lightning Run only cost Kentuck Kingdom seven million and has over 2,500 feet of track. I really wish the park would just wait a year instead of having to go to the cheapest option.
