That much effort for a sign...I think this may be an indefinite thing. Work in close proximity to footers in the morning and move away at 3pm...Maybe.

Update AC not open at 3 maybe 4 or later. On the bright side the park now is officially saying that they are build a project but that is all. As if the large crane was not a hit of them building something. On a side note I got some really dirty looks from the officials handling the crowd when I blurted out its a new roller coaster they just don't want to tell you yet.

Kinda odd they're doing this when they can do all the work when the park is closed during the week and not disturb the park on weekends. This project is weird in more ways than one.

It's still a weekday and with winters being what they are around here, closing one ride in favor of giving yourself a buffer is a smart decision.

Busch gardens is putting too much work into keeping this ride a secret. If I(who doesn't have a season pass) came to Busch gardens one day I would want to know why my second favorite ride wasn't open. With the type of rides over there mostly spinning I would assume that is what they are building. If I knew it was a coaster I would be more excited than disappointed.

We we found out they can't run Apollo and do construction at the same time, hence why it was closed until 3.

From what the spokes person at the ride Friday said it will be closed ALL Fridays till at least 3 maybe later in the day. But not weekends they work on the project Monday through Friday.

If they opened it for Christmas Town (which I have heard NOTHING about this or any other detail about this, not even acknowledging the existance of this project, I even forgot it was going on the last 3 days here), I'm sure that would draw in more to Christmas Town just to ride the new ride. It would be exclusive under the Christmas Town extra ticket until next year.

CT is wildly successful as it is. The park wouldn't need to waste the opening of a new attraction in order to draw a crowd that is already there. And this ride hardly has dirt in the right place. So this ride isn't opening in November.

Realistically, I do not see it opening until March at the very earliest.
As I think more back to Mach Tower and Verbolten, I realize the park is on a consistent trend. They over advertised Mach Tower only for the ride to completely break down and leave many guests upset at the least. They barely advertised Verbolten and people still mocked it for the first three months it was open. I guess they plan on not advertising this ride at all.

Has anybody thought about the ramifications if they decided to use this as the only coaster that's open next CT. It scares me.

Major rides don't get renamed during CT. The only exception is Mach Tower, but that's only because it operates in observation mode.
