Wait, weren't you the one who said to let go of the past and not be jaded by what once was? Allow me to paraphrase:

Things change in the times. [....] But to judge and critique because it isn't where it used to be is a bit of a nitpick.

I had thought of skipping Tempesto because the POV looks intense and I thought it might make me sick, but I haven't heard anyone mentioning feeling sick afterwards.

The pasta flat is many things, intense is not one of them.

In the sense of what used to be AT THE PARK.

Not, hey guess what, with no warning an amusement park closes.

Because you had a sundial or whatever in front of Pompeii one year and the next is not really a traevesty. Losing a whole amusement park because of two fighting cities, a greedy CEO, and a bad location isn't being jaded by the past.

I was more so commenting on the previous posts stating that it was better than Tempesto. I would ride Tempesto over and over and will likely never ride carolina cobra ever again because I have no desire.

I was merely stating, for a Vekoma Boomerang, which I have riden several (credit whore here), Carolina Cobra is pretty great... For a Vekoma Boomerang...

I felt actual forces on Carolina Cobra and the ride didn't bore me. Was it the best coaster ever? No. Was it more interesting than Tempesto? Yes.

I rode Tempesto today for the first time. Going into it I had very low expectations from what I've read here. I also didn't like the idea of the ride at all as I do not find it in line with the old BGW I've grown up with.

But hey, why not ride it? Line was extremely short first thing in the morning. I sat in the very back. The ride was actually pretty decent! As so many have said, it isn't very intense, but not all rides have to be intense to be good. The slow roll was cool, and the drop immediately after was awesome in the very back (the one intense part, in my opinion).

I absolutely cannot stand what BGW is doing with this ride. The advertising with the daredevils is not BGW. Maybe it's just me and my difficulty accepting that the park is changing whether I like it or not. Regardless, I'm glad I went on Tempesto at least once and would again with a very short line.

I meant to post my review for Tempesto this morning when I came online to also post my review of the Food and Wine Festival. Then I forgot that I rode Tempesto and didn't remember till several hours later. I feel like this is actually a better indication of my opinion on the ride than what I was originally going to post.
