We can't win. Everything about this coaster is a failure in my eyes. Bad capacity, bad restraints, bad layout, bad location, bad look, and it excludes younger guests from riding. WHAT THE HAWK

If it makes you feel better i am looking forward to it as I've not been on one of these.

Neither have I, and while I'll be interested to ride it once. Though I highly doubt I'll do it every time I go. At least the east coast is getting one awesome coaster this year. I'm looking at you Carowinds - April 4th can't come soon enough, then I'll drown my sorrows on Fury.

For anyone wondering about the reasoning behind OTSR.

As you can see by that photo of Nessie taken by the Daily Press that the restraints are clearly a throwback to the original Loch Ness Monster! Looking at the trains you can see where the OTSR connect to the lap bars and hopefully since this is what I assume is the only buckle, will lower the amount of confused guest allowing faster dispatch times. Also, what modifications have taken place in Festa?

It's easier to love Festa if you pretend you are visiting a throwback to vintage 70s Hastings complete with Jester's Sport (arcade), The Battlements (shooting gallery), and flat spinning rides.  Even the Gypsy Wagon was in Hastings.  For extra fun suspend belief and board the train pretending it's the monorail to the Anheuser-Busch Hospitality Center. :D

Screwed around on the park website and found the page linked to below. Am I the first one to find this, or is it old news? Either way, somebody at the park must have been a little too excited to let the cat out of the bag.

[Staff Edit: The site has been pulled. We have the full page reposed here though. Enjoy!]

This seems to happen a lot with announcements whether it be roller coasters or concerts.
