I did one time, but that was a six flags day.
I do have a constant sadness from my home park being Darien Lake.![]()
Ah, the signature Six Flags mid-park depression—that moment around 2:30PM when it's 107°, all of the shade structures in the park are inexplicably missing their shades, you've been baking on blacktop all day, you're tired, hungry, and thirsty, the only three dining locations that are open have 45 minute lines, you can only get free shot glasses of water one at a time, 1/3rd of the rides are closed, 1/3rd of the rides are operating at reduced capacity, 1/3rd of the rides have operations akin to the DMV, there are three different school groups in your immediate vicinity all acting like hooligans in disparate, novel ways, and the realization of all of these things hits you all at once like a sudden-onset existential crisis as you drag yourself across the path in front of one of the few rides operating at full capacity: a Vekoma SLC sponsored by Takis.
