I'm actually hoping they play that one movie they made already despite my hatred for Sea Turtles.

For me Pirates is just campy, campy fun. It hits you over the head with the same joke/gag over and over and OVER til you just have to laugh at how predictably corny it is.
I'm with Alpenghost, though, I did like Haunted Lighthouse -- although I know a lot of people didn't. I thought it was just spooky and eery enough to be fun "for the whole family," as they say. I think all these films fill a good niche for the park -- something fun and visually appealing (plus the effects) for a place to cool-off and have a change of pace from rides and lines.

I was just a kid when I saw the Haunted Lighthouse but from what I remember: I thought the show was more silly than it was scary. I think that's what they were going for but from looking at the adverts beforehand, I was expecting to have the pants scared off of me. :-/

I do remember a spooky feel to the interior of the lighthouse and to the moment when it's revealed about the kids, but yah, definitely it was pitched at not being too scary even for small fry.
