Its not the building part that SEAS is slow about. Got to get it up so you can sell passes for some far in the future opening date.Glad they aren’t wasting time getting this ride built.

They really can't waste time, as that area is prime real estate for their Christmas event. I would think the goal is to have it standing (along with fencing) by mid October at the latest. As to opening, my guess is early 2023.Glad they aren’t wasting time getting this ride built.
SWO has to be out there to compete with UO. If KD ratcheted up the sauciness in their social media posts, I would like to think BGW could rise to the challenge. The really sad thing is that the BGW marketing team would never even consider being this out there. They aren't this comfortable with social media and it shows. They'll never post anything like this.
This was shown a little bit ago with KD and bgw more or less roasting each other on twitter. I can’t remember exactly when, but it can’t be more than 2 months ago.SWO has to be out there to compete with UO. Except comfort collars won’t exist and the cars won’t require contortion to get in and out of.Lol, a tempesto clone with B&M track
I hope so. It's one and done for me on Green Lantern at SFGA.Was kinda hoping this was going to be B&Ms take on the newer launch coaster. I guess what concerns me is does the surf coaster eliminate the issues with the stand up model for me? If not then I will probably ride this once a visit tops before the marathons on Mako and Manta proceed.
I could see this model being a total dud for the same reason few other stand ups still exist - I.e. standing up itself doesn’t improve the ride experience on any coaster anywhere.i could see this new model becoming the next sky rocket II for sea world.
Standing can increase intensity and vulnerability -- make you feel like it could fling you off. Unfortunately I don't know of any B&Ms that feel like that, but Shockwave did. Shockwave was also an appropriate size (and simplicity) to need the intensity.I could see this model being a total dud for the same reason few other stand ups still exist - I.e. standing up itself doesn’t improve the ride experience on any coaster anywhere.
