It's also kind of weird considering there's nothing in the plans for removable floors, so I only imagine that the train the ride will have doesn't have a pronounced front end on it.

B&M patent for new coaster train.

Could this be for the surf coaster?

Link to patent.

We said the same thing about the stand up patents that were filed in 2020. Guess we won't find out until the trains get revealed or something like that.

I for one don't fully understand why they need to put a shock absorber into the seat other than to make regular maintenance more tedious for the parks.

Is it a shock absorber or does it allow the seat to sway from side to side? The side to side movement could be really cool.

The only application I can see it being used for is some sort of shock absorbtion but the problem I have with that is that the chassis of the train already does that work. It makes no sense to me why they'd make the seat bouncy.

Looks kinda like a floorless train seat with an over the shoulder lapbar conversion

The quick cropped shots don't show it but the train itself is basically a wing coaster chassis (wheel assembly and spine) with a floor placed on it and the seats mounted on the wheel bogies. Someone I know is currently patching together an idea that they have that could showcase what the new chassis is capable of doing and some of you may or may not like it.
