I really don’t understand why they didn’t invest in a 2nd train this ride looks like it has enough block zones?

Holy crap, i forgot they are only operating a single train. For what is going to be a popular family coaster, this seems like a really bad plan.
I fully believe 2 trains would have been a serious "stack-fest" since the course is so short. Dealing with kids and families that need to secure restraints and may need extra time for all that comes with this potentially being their first real roller coaster - a second train would be a greater burden than a benefit by the time the first one comes back around to sit on the brake run for minutes at a time. Throughput benefits would be marginal at best.
I’d assume 15-20. Since B&M sold them 2 coasters they probably got a price break, especially since they’ve now taken a risk with 2 prototypes
I would assume it was a 3-coaster deal of Penguin Trek, Phoenix Rising, and BGW's family invert (maybe even 4 including Pipeline), and maybe a discount was thrown in for buying multiple rides (and/or two prototypes). For Phoenix Rising, just 1 train and 1,800ft of track, I would sure hope it wasn't more than $12 million all-in (aka site prep, foundation work, the physical ride hardware, the installation, theming, and so on).
Pretty sure I just passed by a billboard advertising this as “Florida’s Tallest and Fastest Family Inverted Coaster”….
Yup, I see that billboard daily. Very interesting marketing but at least they didn’t advertise it as “Florida’s Tallest and Fastest Swinging Family Inverted Coaster”
I eye-rolled the initial statement, not the reporting of this.
The lights on the undercarriage of the seats and on-ride audio has been turned on!

What a weird superlative to advertise. "Among roller coasters specifically designed to be small and mild, ours is fractionally less small and mild than the rest! And that's why you should take your small children here instead of Disney World!!"
And that's not even acknowledging the fact that there's like one other inverted family coaster in the entire state.

Freedom Flyer is technically a suspended, however little it may swing. And then the kiddie coaster Pteranodon Flyers over at Universal also swings. This is Florida's ONLY family inverted coaster. Although that effectively is saying "Theirs swings, ours doesn't" and that's not very good marketing.
I think most people would say suspended coasters are a subcategory of inverted coasters, not a different thing entirely.
