This is more likely going to be how the new ride will be laid out and what I predicted a few months back. Here's a more realistic layout of possible attraction, hopefully they do some theme work around the Station and launch areas. This is the same layout as Toutatis @ Parc Asterix.

Hypothetically, if there was a hotel say north of the serengeti, could BGT create another entrance that brings hotel guests into the park by way of this land ??I think it would make far more sense to have the station be in the old rhino rally area
This just keeps getting more interestingHey Everyone, I just checked one of the permits on Accela for BGT's new Project Halcyon (permit "BLD-23-0502612"), and, well, I have found several new documents listed under the attachments tab. Two of the new documents (that are going to be attached below) have valuable information that may give us clues as to what this roller coaster might be. it seems that this ride will have a chain lift in it, which can be seen in the document called "Permit_Responses_Building_Round_1" at the top of page 5. Also, I quickly went through the document called "HALCYON FLACOM" and I did see a mention of "escalators and moving walks... conveying passengers" (at the bottom of page 18), so this made me wonder whether this ride would have a moving platform to load riders, similar to Cobra's Curse loading procedure. If anyone can, take a look through the documents that I have attached and see if you can find something that I might have missed while viewing them (especially the second document that has all of the electrical information in it). Currently, given the provided information, I am thinking that this coaster will be a Vekoma Boomerang, or something along the likes of that, however that would not explain the reason for having a moving walkway (maybe the moving walkway/escalator is a reference to something else that I do not know about)...
Whoa, this has taken a turn! A Vekoma Boomerang could not have a moving walkway, and an escalator in the queue would just be weird. Maybe we're looking at a smaller 4 person vehicle?Hey Everyone, I just checked one of the permits on Accela for BGT's new Project Halcyon (permit "BLD-23-0502612"), and, well, I have found several new documents listed under the attachments tab. That would actually be extremely cool, but how would the moving belt be explained?Look y'all, Phoenix Rising will open in 2024 at Busch Gardens Tampa. The first construction trailer for the project arrived last night:

I don't have any specific documents other than what I've been told in particular, but The coaster is a Vekoma Family Launched-Coaster, very similar to Lightning at Furuvik.
ETA: I expect an announcement very, very soon.
The exit into Painted Camel seems to be a decently long walk from the end of the ride if I'm being dead honest...That would actually be extremely cool, but how would the moving belt be explained?

My bad, I did not notice that at first. I mostly skimmed through the document so I must have overlooked that part. I should probably not jump to conclusions the next time that I post something. Sorry about that. That document is just a generic checklist from the Florida Building Code (specifically the energy conservation portion). All construction projects in Florida are required to comply with it, and it has rules and regulations for all types of construction. Just because an item is listed there doesn’t mean it’s part of this project. Only items relevant will be checked off - and if you take a look at the beginning of the list on page 9 you’ll see there’s a N/A box for items that are not applicable.
Oh crap! Something like Lightning would be a PHENOMENAL fit for the park!
ThemeParkInsider posted that trademark over a day before he made that post, so I wouldn’t exactly take him using the name as confirmation of anything … I’m still not convinced this is a Vekoma but I also don’t have any documents to corroborate that!
Yes, Monday.and I suspect this will be announced next week!
