At this stage of the game everyone is just giving their opinion of what attraction is coming to BGT.
That's not what you're doing, though. Whether you're intending to or not, it comes off like you're gloating that you think you know what's going on. You keep saying "Pantheon wouldn't fit there but Toutatis would", entirely disregarding scale, simply because both the rides are L-shaped. 'The station building is 18ft tall and one story just like Pantheon, therefore it's probably like that!' Really? 🤣

Anyway, my point is that not every post in this thread is created equal. You may just be throwing your BGT wishlist against the wall hoping something sticks, but other people are putting a lot more time and thought into their hypotheses than that.
Perfectly said.

No, people are looking at the peices of the puzzle we have (documentation, location, timeline, what the park has, what the park needs, what the park has recently lost, etc) and formulating hypothetical solutions that would fit as well within those parameters as possible.

@Ghost's accounting of the expected project area is a very good assessment in my estimation. Could it be wrong? Certainly—and that's fine. We're just looking for the most plausible explanation and, right now, I think the most plausible outcome here is that the project area is 1.31 acres and encompasses roughly the area outlined above.

If there's some huge secret plan that BGT has managed to conceal from everyone and this is actually some major coaster that hasn't made large-scale construction progress in August, feel free to tell us how wrong we were after it's announced. Unfortunately, I think you're the one who is far more likely to come out very disappointed here though.

I just give my opinion and stick to it, could I be wrong on my prediction? of course. Will I be disappointed if my prediction is incorrect? no. If my prediction doesn't pan out, I will be the first one to acknowledge the person who guess it right.

You gave an opinion of my opinion......Focus on the project at hand, publish your 2 cents about the possible attraction coming to BGT and we'll read it. Some people will agree with you, some will not agree. IT'S okay either way, we're here to have fun and build hype!

You are right, I have no idea how permits works. I do know many people don't understand how opinion works.
Opinion - a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge.

It is fine to state your opinion, as long as it is presented as an opinion. Your posts have asserted things (with no evidence) as if they were facts. Especially on a forum where people do have access to inside information, that is very misleading.

In fact, we have addressed the need to cite your sources clearly and identify opinions as such in our Forum Etiquette thread:

When you insinuate your know secrets and present things as facts, people who have real data that contradict your assertions are obligated to challenge you. Misinformation can easily spread, and can damage the credibility of everyone.

@CoasterMac did NOT give an opinion of your opinion. He provided hard evidence that contradicts what you have repeatedly presented not as opinion, but as fact.

Moreover, while people are here for a variety of reasons, many come to ParkFans to get good information about parks. Building hype is for marketing departments.

1. I never said or insinuated I have secret information, I can't control how people interpret comments/opinions.
2. Thanks for clarifying ParkFans purpose of existance, i'll sit out and see how the project plays out. i'll continue to visit the site for informational updates, ParkFans has been useful in the past and I appreciate all the work each one put in to brings us information.
3. Any information on possible Manufacture? Vekoma, Intamin or Mack Rides?

Last page or two of this thread has been a journey.

Anyways. I hope Sand Serpent gets replaced with a family friendly coaster. Despite having its own FoF like area I still think it’s smart for BGT to have Pantopia evolve a bit to be the family friendly part of the park. Scorpion makes a good “kid first looper”, Serengeti Flyer is a nice easy going high thrill, Falcons Fury is the only super high thrill. Put in some mildly thrilling flats and you created a nice family friendly land in the middle of the park.

Why are we expecting anything other than a family boomerang to go here? I'd be shocked if that's not what we're getting.
Yea from the start i’ve seen this as a Tigris style setup with the queue wrapping around the side starting at the Painted Camel, to the station with the ride exit dumping right back into the park. No way would Busch make this a 2 story building. Also no maintenance barn basically gives it away

That's exactly my thoughts. The park desperately needs a new family coaster, a family boomerang is the perfect fit.

Happy Coaster Day to every one of you. Hope each person on here knows how awesome they are!! Final predictions?? Boomerang? Wing or Inverted shuttle? "Taller pantheon" 🤣 ???

For some reason, I am really hoping this turns out to be a Pantheon style attraction because I hope that whatever this is has great capacity since bgt is quite a busy park (apart from the weekdays not during the summer/holidays) and the lines in the park always feel like they don't move, so they need some ride that can draw people away from the other rides but also have good operations. Besides, I am not complaining about another thrill ride, unless if it also wont have any theming like with Iron Gwazi (the ride literally sits in a giant pit of dirt, like they could have AT LEAST had some grass grow there; dirt makes the ride look like it takes place in the middle of a desert). Please, just add some good theming bgt. It makes the ride experience so much better. Like imagine Cobra's Curse but there being no theming at all, that would make it one of the worst coasters in the park. Overall, I would be fine with a family coaster, however I just want there to be some good theming that could tie Pantopia together with the Serengeti and I want the ride to have a fast moving line, unlike Iron Gwazi or Cobra's Curse (or even Cheetah Hunt for that matter with their dual loading station). Current prediction: Intamin multi-launch coaster (like Pantheon) but with very minimal theming (also like Pantheon).

This isn’t a direct attack on anyone here, but it kinda annoys me when people complain about getting family coasters/attractions. The park NEEDS it, you can’t just rely on Sesame. Sand Serpent was a non-inverting family coaster, it needs to be replaced by the same thing. Just because the park has Cobra’s and Air Grover, having 3 will really bring a balance, Cobra’s is Near Montu/Cheetah. 2024 will be near Kumba
Air Grover, Sheikra, Tigris and Iron Gwazi. It gives kids or people who don’t want to ride the big coasters. Something to do

100% agree. Just want a family coaster on the level of Wave Breaker, Darkoaster, Project Toboggan... personally don't feel a family boomerang is on that level.
