Ok, thanks for the clarification on that because I was really unsure what to think about it.View attachment 29393
No details related to the attraction will be found here. S&S = Storm and Sewer/Drains

My guess is that the station will be "2 Stories" with more queue underneath and the platform above, kinda like SheiKra or Gwazi. You know, now that I think about it, that queue definitely seems a little small to me (given that there is the regular line and the quick queue line). Although, it might just be me![]()
Totally agree on two story station. My guess is that the station will be "2 Stories" with more queue underneath and the platform above, kinda like SheiKra or Gwazi.
Competition. The existence of Kumba didn't stop IOA from building Hulk. (Not 100% the same situation, but it's close enoughLove the layouts but why would BGT install a similar coaster to the one up the road (VC)
Agree 100%, BGT always come up with their own unique version of attractions (i.e. Higher spike/top hat...more speed) VC is custom designed exclusive to Universal Parks so BGT attraction could have similar elements but different ride experience. This is only speculation at this time since no one knows what BGT will come up with but SWE have a history of installing similar successful rides on most of their park.Competition. Probably a mild themed attraction, SEAS no longer spends money on heavy theming ever since they have a regional park mentality. You would think they would do a lot of theming in SWO but look at Ice Breaker, Pipeline. New 2024 coaster will have theming because most of it is already there in Empire of the Penguins........... so Cedar Fair, Six Flags and SWE all operate the same way, minor theming on most attractions, its all about the budget.Interesting, even just for a station that building has a weirdly small footprint, even if it's two levels. Hopefully this doesn't end up being another Tigris or Emperor style uncovered queue.
I'm really curious to see what this ends up being though, if SEAS really is trying to pull out all the stops. A Pantheon clone seems like an awfully run of the mill, stops-left-in choice for a park that pumps out a new roller coaster almost every year (unless it's going to be extravagantly themed or something), so I'm holding out hope this could be something more interesting than that, or that there's some other element of this we don't know about.
Minor theming is better than no themingProbably a mild themed attraction, SEAS no longer spends money on heavy theming ever since they have a regional park mentality. Tbf they did a decent job with theming on DarKoaster and Arctic Rescue, but it's true that BGT just kinda stopped doing theming altogether after Cobra's Curse. That said, if this is going to be just another off-the-shelf roller coaster randomly plopped into the park with no theme, no improvements to the surrounding area, and no indoor anything, then it seems like the "oh boy Epic Universe is coming let's build something special to avoid getting completely overshadowed in 2025" sentiment has yet to materialize among BGT management. Unless there are other, grander plans in the works alongside this relatively mundane one.Probably a mild themed attraction, SEAS no longer spends money on heavy theming ever since they have a regional park mentality. Inverted at best. Tidal Wave, Curiosity Caverns, Jungala, Crown Colony, Akbars all unused. After 10 years the remaining Rhino Rally plot was used for a flat ride and potential boomerang??? This is not the park I grew up with. Have y'all seen the attractions coming to Epic Universe? Both passes are around 20$ a month for Florida residents, BGT is providing no reason to stay loyal. After the Holiday World and Kings Island announcements, I really hope this project isn't a Family Boomerang...
I mean….would that really be a bad thing?. I think a Family Boomerang could be a great additionAfter the Holiday World and Kings Island announcements, I really hope this project isn't a Family Boomerang...
I feel like this park has a lot more potential than a single-train, low-capacity shuttle coaster getting installed in multiple other parks in the same year...I mean….would that really be a bad thing?. I think a Family Boomerang could be a great addition
OK yeah I can see thatI feel like this park has a lot more potential than a single-train, low-capacity shuttle coaster getting installed in multiple other parks in the same year...
Agree with you, this park has the potential to do great things here. They do have to right the wrongs of the past. Like Jungala, they invested alot of money in theming that area, great spot for a Family coaster (Vekoma 2025) and one or two flat rides 2026. Pantopia is just there, Falcon Fury being the main draw when it is in operation. Here's where a bigger and better Pantheon type of coaster will go in 2024 and revive the area. Lastly, Kumba is at the end of life cycle we all will hate to see it go but reality is that eventually would have to be removed. I don't see BGT Retracking Kumba, I see them rather save that money and invest it in the most anticipated attraction in years, A GiGa coaster for 2028 or sooner. Kumba's location is ideal for the giga coaster BGT knows this and are not in a hurry to built the giga until Kumba is gone.I feel like this park has a lot more potential than a single-train, low-capacity shuttle coaster getting installed in multiple other parks in the same year...
Are we sure they’re that desperate to get rid of Kumba? They know how iconic the ride is and how much people love it. It’s kind of the same reason why Williamsburg hasn’t gotten rid of Loch Ness MonsterAgree with you, this park has the potential to do great things here. They do have to right the wrongs of the past. All that is true but Ridership numbers really tell the story and ride does have an expiration date. We'll enjoy it while we can....Are we sure they’re that desperate to get rid of Kumba?
