This may be coincidence, but the current plot of land walled off + the theater is 70,000 square feet, and enough left over for a cobra sized queue where kiddie rides were. We know they were thinking of using part of that space for an indoor coaster as recently as 5 years ago. If they  EVER were to give us an indoor coaster, this would be the location. Rhino Rally's remaining land is over 70,000 sq ft. This coaster would leave most of that land still vacant if it does indeed go over the service road. Would they build a low to the ground family coaster over the main service road? Just for fun, The Painted Camel (rumored exit) is already filled with our dark ride memorabilia.

Interesting to see if this is headed to BGT, track and supports seem to have the same colors as the retired SandSerpent. Anyways.........
As all of us know, Universal Epic will open 2025 and SWE is pulling all stops to stay relevant before UE opens. BGT's new attraction could be the biggest and most expensive of all SWE Parks for 2024 and i'm sure SWE started planning their strategy since the UE announcement back in 2019. lastly, I enjoy reading everyones opinion, ideas and rumors. Thank You! Looking forward to finally knowing what my home park will come up with....

View attachment 29358This survey marking is located in between the ramp to Kumba and theater entrance. Was spotted the same time others in Pantopia were. What could this mean ?

I remember seeing that marker but never thought anything of it........ Knowing how BGT repurpose their buildings, I would not be surprised if they convert the Pantopia Theater into attraction's station.

That large blue track (and probably the orange supports) is for one of Intamin's new Ultra Surf coasters.

So unless BGT is getting one of these, it's not going there.
good to know, If that's the case. I don't see them placing this in that area. Jungala would be the area if BGT ever get one of this but that is a whole new story.

At this going rate. The two parks in Florida that will be getting thrill seekers & coaster lovers in droves are SEAS & Universal, and I am all for that

Great find! Would plans for the area across the service road be filed separately? Or is it that that area doesn't require any drainage? Seems like that will be used for this attraction (as it's included in these plans), but not drawn in the same detail as the "main" area. Looks like the exit path of the attraction will dump out into that gift shop as well.

Edit: seems like the direct link to the PDFs automatically shuffles, the top link is broken. Going through the ERP page works fine though.

The plans show removal of the old Watusi Cow night enclosure building and fencing, that area is likely just to be footers for the attraction so no need for any drainage plans. (FYI the Watusi is moved across the train tracks into the enclosure by the Skyride midpoint.)

I think they are just cleaning up the area across the service road while they have the demolition equipment on site.

The Calculations/Drainage Information document says:
SITE & PROJECT NARRATIVE
On behalf of our client, Sea World Parks and Entertainment LLC, this is to request for EnvironmentalResource Permit Modification Short Form for the BGT Project Halcyon. The existing 1.31 acre project area is located on Busch Gardens Tampa campus, on the east side of the Timbuktu area (see attached location sketch). The existing area consists of concrete walk/attraction areas and landscapeareas. This area currently drains to the existing Topi Ponds located in the northwest area of the park. The project area was included in the Busch Gardens Mater Drainage Plan (Permit No. 49018952.00,Approved August 24, 1999). See attached location sketch.
The proposed project calls for the removal of ±24,148 sq. ft. of existing impervious attraction/walkareas and the construction of ±8,777 sq. ft. of impervious attraction/walk area. This results in areduction of impervious area of ±15,371 sq. ft. to be used as credit for future BGT projects. Theproposed project will continue to drain towards the Topi Ponds as in the existing condition and willhave no adverse impact on the existing drainage system.

Anyone know if BGT still has the trademark for Python? I can't help but think Jungala is being prepped for SOMETHING right now. 2026 would be the 50th of Python. Funniest to me is Tidal Waves station still on park maps.

Sorry for the free hand design, lol but this is what I think is the attraction coming to BGT. A Pantheon/Toutatis type of design.

Hmm, does this look like a station possibly? I'm thinking so because to the left of the "future building" there is a pathway that leads up to it, however I am really not sure. (attached are also several PDF files that maybe some of you can find something interesting in, one of which has S&S in it... however it might stand for something else). Also, this is in the plot that is currently being demolished in Pantopia, and one more detail that is not clearly visible in this image is that the path that extends down to the right from the "future building" seems to exit into the Painted Camel building in Pantopia (this can be seen in the "Plans" PDF on pages 4 and 5).

You know, now that I think about it, that queue definitely seems a little small to me (given that there is the regular line and the quick queue line). Although, it might just be me :)
If you look at Pantheon, it doesn't have a big station/queue space.

No details related to the attraction will be found here. S&S = Storm and Sewer/Drains
