This would be a good park for Hershey Entertainment and Resorts to buy and flip (see also: Lake Compounce and Dutch Wonderland in the past). Keep this place alive and get some modest updates to it, maybe try to resell in 5-10 years while also trying to pump up season pass cross-promotion with Hersheypark, etc?

Is it just me or does $1.5 million seem super low?
To be fair, IB Parks bought it for only $2.3 million... and the park was probably in better shape at that point.
Hellcat was running, albeit poorly, and half of the park’s lineup wasn’t disassembled.
I ended up in the area for some work related reason in late 2020 (despite living 20 mins away, I very rarely ended up in Clementon) and the park obviously wasn’t in good shape, it really hasn’t been in decades, but it was considerably better than what I’ve seen out of this season.
Unless the park is being bought by someone with the money to throw at its countless issues, which I find highly unlikely, another attempt at operating the park would be flat out nonsensical. Even if they can pull that off, Clementon has been in such horrible shape for so long that its reputation will be a massive hurdle to get over.
As much as I’d hate to see the park be done for good, I just don’t see a future for it in which this cycle doesn’t continue.
Tbh the gofundme wasn't entirely a joke. I really, really want to see a community or county effort to save the land if not the park. Tear out the rides and make a county park.
It's going to be acquired for the land and redeveloped into something else. Just start preparing for it now. I get it, it sucks. But lets stay grounded in reality here.
