Well we've successfully made it to page 2 without any mention of the actual event we were supposed to discuss. If there is nothing to add to the topic at hand, then we can all ignore this thread until it is relevant.

I really dont see the point, we were going to have one at some point and it is the next preview day, its not like were talking about two or years in advance or thousands of years in the future/past( dont know what that was all about). And if im wrong, I still think this thread could be used as an example or reminder not to make threads so early.

Also, I think PMPD could be a day where pass members could ride InvadR before the GP, if its open.
With all the new passmember benefits being added this year I wouldn't be surprised if they went towards the direction cedar fair went with for Valravn giving season pass holders exclusive ride time in the mornings before the park is open to the GP

This will be our first pass member preview day...what's it like? Is everything open? Also, can we buy the tickets for the picnic the day off or do we have to do it prior?

Thanks!

Historically it is pretty busy and all rides will be running. Typically shows don't start to come online till the following weekend.

Typically whether or not tickets to the picnic are available in-park depends on whether or not they've sold out of them beforehand. Also, if you've not done one of those picnics before, be warned that they aren't BGW's best display of culinary prowess. ;)

Ahhh, good to know about the picnic ;) Sounds like we'll be eating in the park, and not the picnic.

Thanks for the info :D

I'm copying this post to this thread.

I also want to point out that this announcement had NOT shown up on my Platinum Pass page. I have not received an email about either. Am I alone?

For me, this message shows up on the pass member login page before I enter my username and password.

Found it! Thanks! I rarely stop to read the log in page, honestly.

I have to say that I find it a bit counterintuitive to put information about a pass member event on the log in page, but not the pass member special events page. In fact, if you look at the pass member section, it lists 25 March as opening day, which makes even less sense.

Couldn't make it to BGW this morning, so I tried to watch the announcement via their live video feed on FaceBook - couldn't watch it - video kept freezing up. The comments from people that were trying to watch were pretty harsh because of the freezing up.

Does anyone know why the animal enclosures between Ireland and France are no longer there? I noticed the enclosures were gone and sod was laid down but we were unsure why they were gone.
