RE: Park Menus & Prices - 2013

Maybe they sell the platinum certificate in the park now but last Halloween the machine ate my certificate. I went to guest relations and they offered me a gold dining certificate and a snack certificate because they 'don't have an equivalent of the platinum dining certificate in the park.' I was irritated because I don't eat ice cream and we have a cup and bucket for drink and popcorn refills. And--I could have had a $5 cupcake with that extra side. They finally gave me a $5 gift certificate instead so all was copacetic.

I think you can get the discount by purchasing through the passmember website. Log in with your pass and select dining.

PR - You can get the Smokehouse Sampler. those are regular BBQ Ribs not baby back ribs. Source: I do it all the time! :-D

Anyone know if beer purchases are eligible for the pass member discount? I can't remember if I ever tried it....

I originally stated on my post, that would be the most expensive (if the ribs were not baby back) and someone just jumped the gun and skipped to Mama Stella's Sampler, lol, looks like you have expensive taste Pandora :p

EDIT: Just to let you guys know VA Sales Tax is 5% and pass member discount is 10%. You save on tax plus an extra 5% :p

Updated the OP:
- A few minor details
- Separated France/New France (smokehouse)
- Added menus for the Funnel Cake shop in Germany (by the naked lady fountain)

Also, what are chipstix? Deep-fried potatoes on a stick I guess?

The shop is called Das Edelweiss.

I once stayed at an exclusive resort named Edelweiss which can be found in Bavaria, Germany. Just a little bit of background; Edelweiss is actually a very beautiful flower that can be found in Barvaria, South Germany in the Alps. I find it a bit disgracing how they would call such a common snack stand Edelweiss.

You can research more about the resort at www.edelwiesslodgeandresort.com

The Chip Sticks is basically the park's homemade potato chips on a stick; or at least that is the impression I am under. It is definitely nothing to go running for.

EDIT: It may be nothing to go running for, but it is something that is on my to get list, just very very low on the list.

I also stayed visited a little Hutte in Austria called Edelweiss. It was beautiful.
However, the Busch Gardens cafe used to have German style deli sandwiches at one time. It was more represented as "German" in it's early years but also had a different name:Die Drie Schwinne (or the three pigs). At Edelweiss, they also had more desserts and cakes as well. Back in ye olden days.

Anyway, here is the Eidelweiss hutte. It was were I had a yummy bowl of Austrian Egg Soup that was the most glorious meal after climbing up to the top of an Alpen Mountain on a snowy cold day.

Updated the OP, again:

Added "The Coke Shop" in Festa Italia. It may not be current when it opens in May.
I had to stand on top of the curb to get this shot beyond the blue construction walls. :p

Also note, cheese sticks and those potato things (sorry, I forget what their called) are also available for sale at Grogan's Pub; however they are not listed on the menu.

I have had a lot of fun hunting these menus down. Many of them are works of art in their own right; themed appropriately to their location. Who's hungry?!

OP update:
-Loch Ness Drinks
-NF stand
-Lemonade stand

Did you know that all of the LEMONADE in the park is from hand-squeezed lemons? Wow!! There is a long mechanical juicer thing that holds like a dozen lemons at one time. They squeeze 'em, add some water and sugar, and serve. This does not include the frosted/frozen lemonade drinks.
