Even though it's named after a NASCAR driver, the KD pit crew is not ready for prime time on tires changes. ?

Not sure. The other train was parked on the track outside of the station. Maybe the wheels on that one went too.

The restricted area tour during the ACE event was super cool. Of course it's also the first such tour I've been on so I was bound to be excited by it. You really get an idea for the massive size of this thing by going back there. Plus I got to stand under one of the lower points while it flew by at what I guess was close to 90 mph. That was cool.

So its been a year since i rode any coaster at all. Last night i jumped right on front row, and my god this ride never fails to make me laugh my butt off the entire time. Its just a mad house. Especially at night when its chilly. The airtime on the 2nd hill threw me so off, i don't remember it throwing me THAT much out of the seat. I must say though, does it go up the lift slower than the 1st 3 years it was open? I swear it does.

I don't know the answer to that, but I feel like it's a pretty fast lift now.
