Ahem. Matthew was *clearly* referring to the technical name of Rebel Yell's left track, "South Side." :p

In the terms I was talking about I couldn't find another term do the part of Virginia below the James, so I just used that. Would you have a better suggestion?

How does this ride handle slightly larger people in the wide chest scene?

I am... heavier, it is is fairly generous for us.  FOF and Volcano... Not so much.

I heard somewhere that there are larger seats towards the back. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is the buckle a different color and longer like some of BGW's coasters?

On Flight of Fear and Volcano? No, the seats are all the same. The only coaster I know of that has different sized seats is Dominator, with two rows of larger seats towards the middle of the train.

No I was asking about Intimidator 305's seats...

Oops! I'm so dumb. I should probably look at the thread title before I post. :p

They have a test seat. I have to use it every time I go, so I know how much they suck. I can say for me, the test seat is spot on for the back seats. I have never ridden anywhere but the back so I can not speak for the rest of the train.

Today marks 6 years since construction on Intimidator 305 began. Wow, how time flies!

Hopefully we'll have that same excitement once again either this season or next season.

Yesterday I rode intimidator front row and it was the first time I blacked out on it ever.  I have only rode front row once before but does that make it worse.

I don't think the row will really effect the positive forces on your body because of how sustained they are through that first turn. Blacking out is dependant on many things (hydration, temperature which effects how fast the train is hauling, etc).

that has to be one of the longest stretches the park has gone without a new coaster.

It is. The park's only gap between coasters that has matched this is between King Kobra in 1977 and Grizzly in 1982. And if KD doesn't get a coaster next year (and things aren't looking too optimistic right now) then yes, it will officially be the longest stretch without coasters in the park's history.

I have been reading some reports where I305 has been down almost the entire day for Saturday and then yesterday. I hope this trend does not continue i will only be there for on say this coming Sunday.
