Anyway, wanted to make a thread for it now since they're about to debut their new $50 million addition which apparently includes indoor rainforest and desert biomes?

I used to love their holiday lights. This was also a great spot to wander around during COVID.

It’s also another one of many amazing planespotting locations around Hampton Roads. The nature at that scale with the planes that low is great for photography

Even if they are they are not the best of my knowledge not embroiled in a nasty year long contract dispute and on strike.

Sure - I'm honestly not sure what to make of the Lewis Ginter issues since on one side it sounds like staff are getting shafted and on the other the executives are defending their ridiculously high paychecks by blaming the union.

Does the Norfolk gardens still host weekly running races through the summer? I remember as a kid there'd be weekly 5ks or maybe longer through the gardens put on by the Tidewater Striders that included pizza and beer or soda at the end.
