Night Beats died without the original cast. The show that exists now is but a soulless husk.

I do really like the current version. It is a very talented cast this year. They have good interaction with each other and with the crowd. The dancers have some the most entertaining facial expressions.
I liked Night Beats Revamped more than the original Night Beats

I enjoy Night Beats Revamped, but it took me a long time to appreciate it. The first time I enjoyed the show was probably in 2019. 2019 had a very strong cast, and I could tune out all the original show references. (Except for the disco fever scene. I enjoy that part even more in a graveyard for some reason.)
I loved the original Night Beats, but I sort of wish that they just made NBR a new show altogether. The last season before NBR (which sucked IMO) should have been the “revamped” show. That way, they could just let the show go away for a few seasons and bring it back in a new form, along with the Casket Club setting.
So, while I appreciate the ambition of NBR; to me, it was too much of a drastic change to be recognizable as Night Beats. I would probably enjoy it more if they removed all original show references and just called it “Graveyard Shift,“ or something like that.

Okay, I will say one of the highlights of last season was getting pulled up onstage for Take Me Home Tonight.
I know not everyone loves audience interaction, but it just made the whole night sparkle for me.
Also, it was nice to know they would call up a trans girl. So much fun!

Currently, Night Beats: Revamped is not listed as one of the shows for Howl-O-Scream.
Shadows of the Night came on the radio this morning and it made me sad because I'm not at Howl-O-Scream right now.
