We've come such a long way! If I'm not mistaken, people had to sit still for like 10 minutes for a photo to come out right back in the old days. Now there is a real reason to hate getting your picture taken right!

I was just at the park on saturday for what feels like my every so many years visit... I have a platinum from florida and they were pretty sure this system was going to be implemented in the rest of the SeaWorld Parks in the coming year after testing at BGW. (I have NOT been to SeaWorld or BGT in a while due to work)

it was quick and painless, even more easy than park entry at my own work.... and I work at Magic Kingdom!

FYI Tampa still uses the old system and SeaWorld has the old system but they tend to not check the prints.

Interesting perspective. I have actually bemoaned the fact that SEAS doesn't have something like Magic Bands for a while.

Great username, BTW.

SEAS most likely can't afford it. The Magic Band system for the Walt Disney World resort cost over $1 Billion to implement. Disneyland and other Disney resorts don't even have them yet. Also, Disney is facing several federal lawsuits over the technology used in the magic bands, so that would be something SEAS and other park operators wouldn't want to face head-on right now.
