I mean they do during food and wine.
Not particularly relevant to this discussion but that's fascinating if it's true - is there any sort of anything published that explains what's up and why, since SEAS now owns the parks, can't BGW add it if they desired (yeah, they mentioned no new hamlets for the foreseeable future...)?
All well and good for that, but why not find a way to do it full time?
They could seriously find a way to work it into one of their existing menus - thinking Trapper's pork tacos, schnitzel tacos in Germany, and I'm sure Mediterranean seafood goes well in a tortilla if one is into that sort of thing in the new Festa restaurant or Marco Polo's.
Obviously, if they had full on Mexican it'd be better (New Spain), but since they don't why not work with what they have.
I’m getting some serious ”déjà vu” reading this thread. I just went to a taco-themed birthday party today and thought about the taco bar at BGW. Now I’m reading this. Are tacos haunting me? Lol
I know people will hate this; but good. If BGW needs to scrap some things for COVID-19 it’s a good thing.
You are probably totally correct - question would be if this is something they could afford to redo at a later time?
My line of thought is this work is being done to coincide with the potential influx of guests in that area because of Pantheon. Though I would assume it'll stay busy for a few seasons, eventually the newness factor will wear off and the ROI on upgrading a food venue will likely start to go down. Then again, I guess they could always market it as a new for (insert future year) here?
Good counter point. I think right now all answers are right and wrong at the same time.
If they were to wait, I'd really like to see them create a loop from Roman Rapids to the horse pasture area (enough that one can take some time to see the horses if not actually touch/feed them... I'm assuming they are there as it's their backstage area?) Across the train tracks to the Pantheon plaza. Then they can add seating along that path...
That's why I said potentially getting scaled down. It's likely that we won't see the massive renovation that was about to begin but a smaller more superficial revamp
