There is a memory I have from Magic Mountain from about 1980 that has been gnawing at my mind for the past 45 years, and I would love it if anyone could identify it!
It was an indoor transitional space between rides, or perhaps the approach to a ride (or the space you leave the ride through), but it was very strange and kind of dreamlike. From what I can remember, it was a bit futuristic or surrealistic, with a trumpet of some kind high up on a wall, with music coming out of it, but no player visible, and maybe a window set high in the wall, with water coming down in a kind of geometric waterfall (not a naturalistic one) to a built-in trough that carried the water along and out of the space.
I have aphantasia, so I am unable to actually visualize anything, but those are the things that I remember about it.
Can anyone remember anything like that?
