Old pics of a ride I never heard of.

That ride made a whining/roaring sound like nothing I’ve ever heard to this day. It was the single most unique sound of any amusement park ride ever. You could hear it from the bathrooms at the entrance to safari village.

Here's the sound he's referring to, it is quite distinct from other rides with noisy personalities.

Carrowinds used to have one of these called the whip or bull, maybe even bullwhip.

For those who can’t tell from the picture, this ride circled in and out of the smaller Kilimanjaro mountain, which is the waterfall still standing near Chicken Shack and Flight of Fear. You can even see where they sealed the holes the ride used to travel through.
