Sad to see it go, but I get it. Maybe they can put an Air Race in that spot? (Cedar Point hasn't had an inverting flat ride since Chaos, IIRC)

I wouldn't mind if they're just moving it to the Boardwalk area, where I think it would fit better with the other "carnival"style rides like Matterhorn, Calypso, and the Troika. Any intel on what the actual fate of the ride is?

Completely removed per Tony Clark's statement to the Sandusky Register: Cedar Point removes Monster

"Monster has been permanently removed from our ride lineup," park spokesman Tony Clark said. "It has reached the end of its serviceable life as replacement parts are challenging to locate. It will not be relocated to another property."

They should be replacing it with a Huss Magic when removed. Similar motion, still in production. Much better loading procedure.

Great adventures only getting one to avoid losing money on the existing brand new one tbf.

The capacity on Monster wasn't exactly great. But I suspect we'll be looking at a mulch bed (maybe with some greenery) for the foreseeable future.
