My understanding is that currently everything but one ore two rooms has been pulled from the maze. Yes I believe most will be reused in some fashion.

View attachment 37943There’s a dumpster near the entrance/exit of the house 😍

What was I saying about it being gutted?

Half the maze is being ripped out

My understanding is just about everything is being removed an that walls are even being moved around. Many of the props an theme elements will return which I personally have no problem with as I actually thought that individually many of the rooms were some of the nicer ones in recent years the layout and the lack of any story at all were what made this house actively horrible in my opinion. Save the props write a back story that actually makes sense an can be followed. Ditch the old park uniforms for actual costumes that fit the story an I think there much worth saving.

I hate this "building" and would honestly prefer they set it up with some of those picnic tables pre-stocked with beers that they put in Wolf's Revenge.

I think they need to make serious philosophy changes if they expect a house to be successful in this county park outhouse of a building. Monster Manor was bad, but it was a bad house made horrendous due to this strange concrete pad with a tin hat. Darkness and smaller rooms / walkways, two things that make a bad house decent. Was always my biggest complaint with the houses they put in the DK building, too big and somehow had too much light. Fix the easy parts at least with this one, I don't expect them to suddenly know how to do story telling and immersion with houses.

Seemed to me the problem was bad math. A house big enough for two mazes, staffed enough for one at best, and most actors not doing much. One empty corridor after another. Many great mazes have been built in similar structures.
