I was putting some stuff on ebay and figured you guys would appreciate photos of these two items before they were gone.

Big Bad Wolf wallet that my boyfriend got when he was a kid and a Wild Izzy pin that my mom had when she worked there (random fun fact: I actually got to be one of the first people to ride Wild Izzy because my mom was working there at the time. Sadly it made me cry because I was a big baby).

I keep bugging my mom to go through the rest of her storage because she collected various pins like this when she worked there in the 90s. I'm dying to see what else she finds...

Two more items, though not as interesting (in my opinion)

Das Festhaus Pint Glass and Jack from Howl O Scream bobble head. Unfortunately the base broke off of the bobble head and I have no idea where it went.

I do really like the pint glass though, even if it does seem small compared to our other glasses.

Had some time to go through more photos. Continuing the potential sales lost when you don't keep customers pleased...this is some of the glassware collection. Firstly, getting some new stuff out of the way.

It appears at least something is still sold that is made in the country the hamlet represents. Unlike the scarves there. :(

I don't recall if we got those at full price or reduced later. I do recall seeing them really cheap. We waited out lots of stuff to see if the price dropped. Unfortunately, waiting for good deals meant missing some stuff.

Well, you can let me borrow them for a while and I shall proudly squeeze myself into them and wear them around the park. They should fit you when I return them. :p

I don't have TOO much Busch merchandise, but I do have a few pieces lying around here and there. I scored all of these through special events from the park. Ready to see them?

I like these designs quite a bit if I say so myself.

Last but not least, my personal favorite. I scored this one through a Verbolten special event.

Hi All,

Here are some items we purchased over the years...The Loch Ness Monster mug was a good find - just what I was looking for at the time (complete with LNM themed holder for the mug). The stein was my birthday gift this year and is #188 in the series made in Germany.

I included a photo of a merchandise bag from the period (not sure what I purchased but I think it was an Anheuser-Busch wallet in the late 1979-1980).

While I did not purchase the bumper sticker (it was sent to me by the park's guest relations back in the summer of 1980) it does contain its original .35 cent price sticker, so I think it falls into the merchandise category.

The park also sent some 1980 brochures ("New This Summer - Italy!") that I will see if they can be uploaded to the proper thread (assuming they are still needed to fill in the gaps). Looking for the original Loch Ness Monster operating manual for ride operators that I received from Steve Carr way back when...Once found, I will scan and upload to the proper thread.

Not sure why the original mug and stein pictures are fine but the uploads are rotated in the thumbnails and squashed and re-rotated when clicked on...

Eagleview, I am in awe of your items! I am so jealous of your bumper sticker and Loch Ness Lives bag! Those who know me here would say that is high praise as my collection is insane.

Thanks for posting those! Awesome. :D

Here is some old an new:

This past year the Emporium (only) sold this frame that had a piece of Verbolten included:

Ha no. My guess is that parts get replaced often.. this is more than likely a part that removed and replaced. Maybe part of a spacer or something they toss after routine maintenance.

My little piece of metal looks to have some welding cut marks on the corners. So whatever is being used is being cut in many tiny pieces.

This is the first time I have seen the park sell something like this. Too bad they do not do this for all the coasters.

Eagleview~ you are so welcome. It is very rare people post something I do not have. Thanks for posting your pictures and for joining the forums!

The park seems to of put more effort into their online store. They have added an entire section dedicated to Capodimonte merchandise. After checking out their online store it really is kind of sad. I think they should find a way to link their full inventory to the online store. That way if there was something you saw in the park and forgot about you can find it online.

Also as a side note, they have a few things listed on their online store that were discounted in the park but not online. For example, I had a friend who went to the purchase one of their children's suitcases and the original price was near $70. It was supposed to be 40% off in the park, but somehow the register messed up and took off more than 40% and it ended up costing them like $30, more than 50% savings.
