People should blow up Cedar Point on social media over this. There are AI hate subreddits and things to share it on too. Massive public blowback is the way to set parks straight with this bullshit.
Coming from someone who majored in marketing and took several graphic design courses, I could not be more disappointed in Cedar Point's decision to move toward AI with these designs. AI cannot replace true human creativity and is a slap in the face to people who take time to create meaningful art. These images are absolute crap and should rot with these shirts on some dung heap in a Texas bull farm. Actually they don't even deserve to rot with dung, because dung can be useful as fertilizer. I'm pretty sure if these shirts were decomposed into fertilizer the plant seeds trying to grow would recognize the deficient nutrient content caused by the sheer lack of creative spunk and be stunted.

Is there not a graphic artist that is a theme park enthusiast that could make designs as a labor of love? I would think they could make decent money if they could connect with the park chains. Disney and Universal have built in creative, so you would think SF in particular would see value in contracting a true enthusiartist.

There are, but there's more money in it for parks/merch contractors if they cut artists out of the loop.

I understand that parks can have it done cheaper (and not as well) elsewhere, but it looks like Made To Thrill is already working with SF. Too bad they weren't employed here.

I wonder if anyone at SF has a good grasp on the merch-purchaser demographic vs. the possible-purchaser demographic if said merch was classier. Maybe they know something we assume they don't.
