RE: Random Fireworks on May 26

So, I was very curious about the reason for these seemingly random fireworks on 26 May (yes, I know it is Memorial Day Weekend). As with any question, the obvious place to find the answers I sought was Google.

I’m pretty sure BGW is celebrating National Cherry Dessert Day, which is a cause I can enthusiastically support.

Here are the results of my search:

Maybe this is related to Madrid?

Well you don't need to hire anyone or file any papers for land clearance if it all burns down.

I don’t know, I think fireworks are in direct opposition to those that may be attempting to celebrate National Gray Day. Too obvious?

I uploaded a video of the fireworks on YouTube.

The video is blurry for only the first few seconds. This has the longest grand finale of any fireworks show that I have seen at Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The show started 5 minutes early at 9:25 due to inclement weather that was approaching the park.
