I’m not sure when you are planning on going but in the store the had plenty of all three versions of the glassware that they have released so far. i was able to pick up Apollos chariot, Alpengeist, and Big Bad Wolf.
But i’ve got cheap
ass McDonalds glasses that have been through the dishwasher 1000s of times since the 80s that look perfect.
The staff is now warning guest not to put them in the dishwasher. They even point out the label on the bottom of the glass.
Yeah, the promo glasses from McD's back in the day last forever.
I still have the Big Mac coke glasses from when if you bought a Big Mac you got a whole glass. Good deal, would cost $27 at bgw

Unless it’s clearly marked and “for display only” then that’s a bullshit excuse. If you bought a shirt that all the lettering fell off while you were wearing it the first time wouldnt you been pissed if they told you “we didn’t expect you to wear it it’s memorabilia”……same difference. For a $15 price point it shouldn’t fall right off.

McDonald's cups could be given away at a loss because McDonald's was writing it off as marketing.
Where BGW cups are being sold as memorabilia to people feeling nostalgic about old rides which justifies a higher price point.
None of this justifies poor quality in the product; but I was rather pointing out that comparing the price of McDonald's cup price to BGW cups is a bit of a stretch.
Also comparing something from the 80s to something from today isn't a fair comparison. You wouldn't get near the quality if those cups were released today by McDonald's.
Also the cups are able to be used, they just can't handle a dishwasher. I have a fair number of decorative glasses that are like that, they can't handle the consistent high heat and pressure of a dishwasher. However, they wash just fine by hand.

That cup might last, but I highly doubt that plastic is BPA-free.
Really dosent matter, in 40
years the plastics we are using today will be found to have something bad in them too. Have your ever watched paper being made? But everyone loves these paper straws now days, and lord knows they break down in just a few minutes in your drink.
If you're interested, we can set something up where I will ship them to you so you can get them. I plan on getting all of these and will pick you up one when I get mine. We can figure out the shipping. I won't charge you anything over the exact cost of everything. Just let me know.
