Very good point. I know from a friend that they had to cut 20 items off the menu in their restaurant because they can't order the supplies anymore right now.
BGW most likely has similar issues.

On a non conspiracy theory front, some analysts are starting to suggest we might be revisiting an ugly beast from the 1970s, stagflation: https://www.marketwatch.com/story/s...f-rising-prices-bofa-analysts-say-11633110365To play conspiracy theorist for a moment, I've heard rumors that we can expect certain perishable food items to be completely obliterated from suppliers on down the line, and what remains will cost upwards of 40% more than normal by somewhere around January. The funny thing is the same rumors suggesting to stock up on canned goods seems to forget that a massive food shortage will also likely impact the canners too.
Which means you may not get Mongolian beef with fried rice for awhile if any of that is true.
I miss the spinach artichoke flatbreadi miss the mongolian beef with fried rice.
I dont completely understand why staffing is still such a huge problem because I thought the unemployment paychecks were over, forcing people to return to work. Can someone help me with this?
Unless you have heard something different my understanding is that the pay cut only effects new hires but not current employees who locked into their salary rate. That of course doesn't help them hire especially during that seasonal flux between summer employees and fall and year round.COVID realigned people's priorities and fewer people want or need to work for a company that treats them like shit. It doesn't help that BGW is now cutting employee pay either. It has long been a HORRIBLE place to work and now people are being expected to work for even less than they were making a month or two ago—during a time in which their hours are also being cut. Expect staffing issues to continue at BGW until corporate starts making better choices.

Wow I thought it was unbelievably stupid when they where cutting starting wages to cut wages in the current environment is just straight assignI have it on good authority that there are actual pay cuts hitting at least certain categories of current, front-line employees this Howl-O-Scream.
Which will probably be never…Expect staffing issues to continue at BGW until corporate starts making better choices.
I only got sick once eating food at a park and the Asian food there was it so yes I’m quite biased against it.Wait, are you suggesting the removal of the Asian and Rotisserie counters?! That's where all the best food in Marco Polo comes from! The entire point of the restaurant is that it finds a way to thematically integrate foods that aren't typically things you'd find in a European-themed space. Your suggestion is basically to convert Marco Polo back into Ristorante della Piazza...
So get rid of the good food and keep the bad? This is without a doubt my favorite spot to eat in the park due to its variety but it needs some better lighter fare.
I would love to see them narrow this down to 4 things:
1 - Pizza Station
2 - Salad Station
3 - Pasta Station
4 - Antipasto Station
Very simple, clean, and the salad and antipasto gives you some light refreshing foods. And as much as I love cannolis, I think I’d prefer them to stop making them. They just aren’t good. Bring in a custom drink station instead. Italy has a ton of great drinks in that way and it would be a nice change. Or do a little wine tasting bar in there. Lastly I’d love to see them find a way to wedge in a gelato station that’s separate but part of it.
Glad to see this noted as I was thinking about trying the chicken parm sometime.I have found the Italian food throughout the park inedible for years.
