As a potentially related note, I have been noticing a distinct drop-off in the number of employees from other countries working in the park.  It's not really a single-year phenomenon, but this does feel like the first year when I can pass a service employee in the park and guess with 90% accuracy that their nametag will indicate they're from Virginia.  Does BG really even do the overseas-worker program anymore?

The International Work and Travel Program is still in tact.

Usually the students from the Asian countries work from March through June and then the European students come in from June through September. I have a friend from Thailand do this program five years ago for two consecutive years. She was done by mid-June and when we helped her move out of the International Housing Village each time, there were a bunch of European students moving in. So right now will be a transitional period between the two groups.

Also, with all the local public schools out for the summer, you'll definitely see more locals working at the park.

Ate there once and had the lamb (very good and well seasoned), while eating I noticed that the fountains at the theater were on and running and sitting near them put me in a good mood (though I hope that the waterfalls will return someday). I wish the lines were a bit more organized though and not as slow.

That is very interesting. Maybe BGW is partnering with doordash to do delivery within the park? Or someone is just pranking people because technically it's marketplace not market place.

Because the park would never mess something like that up right?

Disney is having this same problem recently, places inside parks are on there but orders places are being canceled. Springs locations are being delivered though.

I finally ate at Marco Polo’s Marketplace since it was updated a few years ago. I have to say, I really enjoyed the spinach artichoke flatbread I ordered. I would definitely order it again and I liked it more than the pizza at Das Festhaus.

I was at Marco Polo's last Saturday and found that they currently running a severely reduced menu compared to before Covid.

Missing items:
-Mama Stella's Sampler
-Italian Sampler
-Beef Cannelloni
-Eggplant Parmesan
-Rotisserie Chicken
-Rotisserie Lamb
-Rotisserie Beef
-Roasted Potatoes
possibly some others. Not sure if they had the salads or not.

They also had all the soda machines covered up and only bottled drinks available.

I hope that is just due to the limited number of guests right now and not a permanent change.

I'd noticed the same thing, since they opened back up for limited time events. I was hoping that they might have expanded their menu last weekend, but I, too, was disappointed. Not having the rotisserie is a huge downgrade, in my opinion.
