RE: London Rocks! (2014 to Present)

Sorry this is so random, but I've always been curious...what do performers do between seasons at Busch if they are doing all three? Besides Busch Gardens, I honestly cannot think of any other areas in Williamsburg where performers can work.

There are a lot of team members that claim unemployment benefits during January, February, and part of March. Also, there are some performers who are still going through college. Then the whole theater industry is just a project based industry so they are smart people who find work. There are some show projects that last a month or so and then there are some that last for years. Many performers, technicians, and others that work in the industry are good at finding work.

A great summer job for theatre students is exactly what it was back in the day of my audition. HOS and CT didn't exist then. The full park season started just when college let out and ended when fall classes began. Local talent was used before and after the full season for weekends. It wasn't a matter of needing a solid job nor unemplyment coverage. It is bit of a differnt world these days.

^Colonial Williamsburg has colonial people roaming around, so they could do that. Other than that, they would have to leave Williamsburg to act.

CW doesn't use people just acting. They are basically full-time reenactors, some of whom live there, as well. They have to learn the trades and lifestyle.

The theme parks used to be the best place for theater students to work over the summer.

I am a student at CNU, a local university just a couple of miles down 64, and a couple of theater students were featured in our school newspaper as scare actors. One of the girls worked in Ripper Row, the other i think either worked on a show or haunted house i can't remember.

Too many delays in rehearsals could cause for the delay of the premiere.

I think Griffon is probably the best source with this type of stuff, and here was his answer:

Thank you all for the deluge of responses. Others have a very valid reason to be asking this question.

Others may hear things as well. Anybody else?
